 | Tablets are only as good as the applications you have on them. iPad been out for over a year with 10,000 apps just for iPad (and access to all the iPhone apps too) Android 3.0 seems ok, but once you have used the browser.. you then need to turn to the apps which just are not there for android atm (although this is changing) Sadly at the moment I feel Apple are at least a year ahead of any other tablet people, and with the fragmented hardware market on Android, iPad will keep the table crown for a while longer. (for anyone calling me an apply fanboi) I only have an iPad with an android Phone and all PCs are windows based. I HATE Macs with a passion, but apple did the tablet right imo

 | Agree with Dave - Have also read that Honeycomb (Android 3) is a bit buggy at the moment - more like a beta with certain functions not yet usable (like accessing an SD card). Also the price is about the same as the equal iPad - you usually have to pay more for Apple products so for the same price I would always go with the iPad. If the Xoom was a lot cheaper than the iPad then I think things would be different. Andrew, Box Admin |
