| Hello
I noticed recently that my tablo would reboot itself when I plug the cable in to charge the battery.
Anybody has the same issue? Any fixes?
Thanks
CN

 | hmm, not had this problem on mine... Don't know if it's worth updating the ROM to the latest one that was posted by Andrew? There's the right way, the wrong way and the Max Power way!!! |

 | Hi The ROM i posted is not any newer - it should be the same as what comes installed out of the box. Your device should not reboot itself when charging. It may be worth speaking to our returns department to see if it needs to be sent back. Give them a call on 0121 202 0000. Andrew, Box Admin |

 | Might be worth a factory reset in case it's something you've added to it possibly (unless this happens out of the box!) There's the right way, the wrong way and the Max Power way!!! |

| Yep, have had the same problem, and sometimes it will hang at the tablo screen after that reboot. Likewise, having rebooted whilst charging the battery charge % reading will sometimes be incorrect. I've noticed that removing it from the case i have to charge will sometimes help. It's only lightly elasticated over all four corners, so i can't understand how it helps, but it seems to. I suspect that it may be to do with the layout of the components within the device, as i notice that there is a lot of screen interference where some components clearly press on the touchscreen from behind, most noticable during the bootup phase due to the screen colouring. |

Hello Andrew, I waited a while as I wanted to see if it's still happening, and it is. I was going to call the helpline you provided but I accidentally dropped it the other day and it now has a crack at the top corner side (nothing on the front and back) and everything seems to be working normally like before (still has the restart problem).
Is it still ok to ring the number?

| My Tablo does this too. If it's locked when put on or taken off charge, it's ok, but if I'm using it when I put the cable in or take it out, that's when I'll get the occasional reboot

| Since I had it, I think. It's not too big a deal for methough.. just a case of remembering to put it on charge while it's locked

 | After a bit more digging, this seems to happen mostly when there's usage while on charge, or putting it on charge. If mine are locked and screen off when putting it on charge, it's fine, otherwise it'll crash and reboot. There's the right way, the wrong way and the Max Power way!!! |

| For what it's worth, the ICS upgrade for the Tablo seems to have cured the rebooting issue for me. :)
